A public forum hosted by: RePower Madison, Physicians for Social Responsibility – Wisconsin, Wisconsin Environmental Health Network, MGE Shareholders for Clean Energy, Sierra Club, and 350 Madison

 

WHAT: Public event with social/networking and presentations on big clean energy steps by City and County governments as well as discussion about local utilities’ progress toward clean energy goals.

 

WHO: Open to the public. Community leaders, elected officials, and advocates for sustainable development are encouraged to attend and network.

  • Madison is considering a 100% renewable energy goal for city operations.
  • Dane County is convening a Climate Action Council.
  • A new CEO is taking the helm at Madison Gas & Electric Company.
